We suggest that you focus on Cu Slide 5. Note the position of the hypoglossal nucleus, close to the midline and just beneath the floor of the fourth ventricle and observe the close relationship of the exiting fibers as they pass by the medial lemniscus and pyramid. Scroll to the very end here to remind yourself of the nature of the corticobulbar input to this nucleus. |
