PIXELATED CARDS

The goal of these cards is to encourage you to use everything you have learned about the surface anatomy of the brainstem as an aid in beginning to identify structures in sections through this same region. We urge you to begin refering to the views of these same slides in the Atlas of Brainstem Sections in the Frontal Plane. There are two advantages in doing so: 1) the views in the atlas are somewhat larger and of better quality than the ones on the cards and 2) for each slide there is also a "low mag" view in the atlas that should help you relate the section to surrounding brain structures.
