- - - At this point, you probably have a pretty good idea of how all these nuclei are packed together within the thalamus. To check your picture of the situation against ours, look at the next four views.
- Figure 14-10 This is an enlarged version of Figure 3-3. The caudate nucleus has been removed on the left, and the thalamic nuclei drawn in as they would appear, lying below the dorsal surface of the diencephalon.
- Figure 14-11 Lateralis dorsalis and part of the anterior nucleus have been removed.
- Figure 14-12 Medialis dorsalis and lateralis posterior (in addition to the above) have been removed.
- Figure 14-13 Pulvinar and the centromedian nucleus (in addition to the above) have been removed.
