     The rostral end of the neural tube undergoes a series of regional expansions to generate the final form of the brain. In early development (3-4 weeks) there are three primary vesicles:
      1. Forebrain = Prosencephalon
      2. Midbrain = Mesencephalon
      3. Hindbrain = Rhombencephalon
