x- PIXBRAIN HOME _ _ MOD 6 HOME _ _ I WANT TO -x Within the basilar pons corticopontine fibers terminate on neurons in the pontine nuclei. These neurons , in turn, give rise to axons which cross the midline and enter the middle cerebellar peduncle. These pontocerebellar axons will terminate as mossy fibers within the lateral part of the cerebellum (the cerebrocerebellum). Unfortunately, our slides cut through the peduncle in an oblique manner, and we never see all of it in a single slide. |
