LESION MATCH EXERCISE

Twenty neurological problems are presented in this exercise. In each case, the clinical findings are presented in the yellow panel on the right. To the left are twenty brain sections; on each, shading defines the site of a lesion. Your task is to match the clinical findings with the lesion responsible for them. To answer the question, click the corresponding letter in the "pick the lesion" group. If your choice is correct, you will advance to the next case. If not, you will be asked to "try again".
All the sections (except A and B) are "active". Click on one of them to display an atlas view of the corresponding slide.
To start, read the description of the findings in Case 1, then scan the lesions and decide which one would produce this clinical picture. Finally, click the letter associated with this lesion.
If you would like to look at or try a different case, click on one of the numbers near the bottom of the page.
